Luis Alicea
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Alicea has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Alicea always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. It's hard to explain but Luis Alicea plays much better on the road then he does at home.

Baserunning & Defense
Alicea isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Alicea you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.

2010 Outlook
AA isn't the right place for Alicea. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down for some minor retooling.
