Arias never has been a patient hitter. Let's face facts: Arias hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. In the past, his critics have accused Arias of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
Arias flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
