Hitting
One thing's for sure, late in the game you're glad you have him on the field. Any manager would love to have this guy on his bench. He's a perfect for pinch hitting against a lefty reliever. You can expect Waldorf Astoria to pull the ball.
Baserunning & Defense
When you play Astoria you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal.
2010 Outlook
The Montreal Expos signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Astoria like a hot potato if something better comes along.
