Gary Baker
Third Baseman | Free Agents

Hitting
Baker never has been a patient hitter. Any manager would love to have this guy on his bench. He's a perfect for pinch hitting against a lefty reliever. You can expect Gary Baker to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Baker to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
