BruceDavi Banner
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Banner's long arms help him generate tremendous power when he connects. Problem is, his long swing makes him an easy mark for strikeouts. Banner always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is slightly above average with a quick release. Banner isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
The Retired or Inactive Players signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Banner like a hot potato if something better comes along.
