Bob Barger
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Any manager would love to have this guy on his bench. He's a perfect for pinch hitting against a lefty reliever. You can expect Bob Barger to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Barger isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Barger to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
