Lee Battam
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Battam never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Battam has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Lee Battam to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Battam isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. Minor league scouts have accused Battam of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Battam to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks. Battam isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors. It's time for Lee to investigate other career options, like coaching highschool ball.
