Steve Belcher
Relief Pitcher | Montreal Expos

Pitching
He struggles with his command at times and is still learning to mix his pitches and set up hitters. His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. He traditionally fares better against lefties.

Defense & Hitting
Belcher seems distracted after his delivery. He's sometimes out of position, fails to cover a base or doesn't back up throws. His move to first base is slow and ineffective. Belcher is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Belcher has some pop in his swing.
