Jonny Bench
Catcher | Cincinnati Reds

Hitting
During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. The statistics don't lie: Bench gets most of his home runs against lefties. His strength is in the gaps.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. He's also one of the better throwing catchers in the league. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.
