Hitting
In past seasons, Benjamin has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Let's face facts: Benjamin hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Fozzie Benjamin to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
He might not deliver for you at the plate, but Benjamin can certainly deliver in the field. He is an exceptional fielder. His arm is accurate enough. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.

2010 Outlook
The Oakland Athletics signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Benjamin like a hot potato if something better comes along.
