Jay Beverlin  
Starting Pitcher | Toronto Blue Jays

Pitching
He's a finesse pitcher, relying on movement and location. Beverlin also has a decent changeup. His stuff becomes less sharp as he gets into the late innings. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. He's almost as effective against righthanders as he is versus lefthanders.

Defense & Hitting
He has a fair pickoff move and isn't a particularly easy target for basestealers. Beverlin is nothing special in the field. Beverlin is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Beverlin has some pop in his swing.
