Bill Bivin
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
The book on Bivin is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Bivin always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Minor league scouts have accused Bivin of being a liability in the field. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Bivin's absolutely no threat to steal and doubles must be obvious for him to chance advancing.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Bivin to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
