Tommy Blanco
Third Baseman | Free Agents

Hitting
Blanco never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Blanco has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Free Agents do tend to sit Blanco when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Tommy Blanco to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Blanco doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Blanco you're not putting him in for his glove. Tommy's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Blanco to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
