Hitting
Borders never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Borders has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Pat Borders to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. Pat's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Borders isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
Borders flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
