Jahquaviu Borella
Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Borella never has been a patient hitter. Borella always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. Jahquaviu's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Borella is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Borella to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks. Borella isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors. It's time for Jahquaviu to investigate other career options, like coaching highschool ball.
