Chris Bosio
Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Pitching
Bosio can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. Sometimes I wish he'd just give up on throwing the changeup, it's like a BP ball! You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Bosio, and that's saying a lot. No one questions this kid's heart. They do question why he just can't get it done late in the game. He frequently leaves fastballs up in the strike zone, where they get pounded. The running movement on his pitches makes life tougher on lefties than righties.

Defense & Hitting
He has a fair pickoff move and isn't a particularly easy target for basestealers. A shaky fielder, he's slow to react to grounders and often looks unsure on his throws to the bases. Bosio is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Bosio has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Bosio as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
If Bosio doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors. I just don't know if The Retired or Inactive Players are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
