Jeff Branson
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Branson never has been a patient hitter. Branson always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Branson when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Branson you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.

2010 Outlook
If Branson doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
