Walt Brown
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. But Walt's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. Brown always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Minor league scouts have accused Brown of being a liability in the field. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Brown's absolutely no threat to steal and doubles must be obvious for him to chance advancing.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Brown to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
