Buckles never has been a patient hitter. The Free Agents do tend to sit Buckles when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Buckles is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Buckles to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
