Pete Burris
Left Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Pete Burris to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. It's hard to explain but Pete Burris plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with Burris signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Baserunning & Defense
Burris isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Burris you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Burris to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
