Randy Cantwell
Catcher | Free Agents

Hitting
The book on Cantwell is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Cantwell always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Cantwell to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
