Hitting
Clark never has been a patient hitter. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Fred Clark to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. It's hard to explain but Fred Clark plays much better on the road then he does at home.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Clark isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
