Alex Cole
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
One of the nice things about Alex is that he's a real clutch hitter. Cole never has been a patient hitter. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
Cole isn't a fluid center fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Alex's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Cole doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.

2010 Outlook
Cole flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
