Roger Connor
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Connor always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Connor has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner. Connor is a poor defensive catcher. He isn't very mobile or adept at blocking balls in the dirt. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Connor to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
