Jimmie Conroy
Left Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. With his slap-hitting approach, Conroy always hits like he already has two strikes. The results are usually groundballs or line drives to the opposite field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect Jimmie Conroy to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Conroy is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. When you play Conroy you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Conroy to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
