Hitting
Crisp has quick hands and is able to cover the entire plate. Crisp always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Crisp uses the entire field and typically produces a couple of hitting streaks of 10 or more games during a season.

Baserunning & Defense
Though he managed to record his share of assists, his arm is just average. Crisp isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2010 Outlook
The New York Yankees signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Crisp like a hot potato if something better comes along.
