Pitching
DAmico's control is among the best in the game. His slider is sharp and breaks both horizontally and vertically. DAmico also has a decent changeup. He's almost as effective against righthanders as he is versus lefthanders.

Defense & Hitting
He's average in terms of controlling the running game. He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. DAmico is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but DAmico has some pop in his swing.

2010 Outlook
DAmico is ready for the big time. The Atlanta Braves will call him up as soon as they can figure out who to send down. I don't say this often, but I'll say it for DAmico: he's one of the highest rated pitchers on my scouting sheet.
