Rob Dasso
Second Baseman | Atlanta Braves
Hitting Dasso provides an ongoing clinic on how to hit .300. He works the count in his favor, waiting for his pitch or settling for a walk. Dasso usually pounds the ball into the ground to try to get the most out of his speed. The Atlanta Braves do tend to sit Dasso when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Left field, right field, center: this guy puts it all over.
Baserunning & Defense Aggressive on the basepaths, Dasso is a good basestealer and takes the extra base when needed most. Dasso isn't a fluid second baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Dasso has one of the strongest arms among second basemen.
2010 Outlook In four full big league seasons, Dasso already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
