Hitting
In past seasons, Dykhouse has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Dykhouse always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Dykhouse when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Dykhouse you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. Dykhouse has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.
