Sam Eagle
Center Fielder | Texas Rangers

Hitting
I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this kid play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Eagle always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Texas Rangers do tend to sit Eagle when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate, and he knows when to unload or take his time. Eagle is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2010 Outlook
The Texas Rangers signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Eagle like a hot potato if something better comes along.
