He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Ensberg isn't a fluid third baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Ensberg is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2010 Outlook
The Philadelphia Phillies signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Ensberg like a hot potato if something better comes along.
