Hitting
In past seasons, Fussell has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Fussell always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
Fussell isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. Minor league scouts have accused Fussell of being a liability in the field. Fred's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Fussell to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
