Hitting
Ganzel never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
Ganzel is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. Minor league scouts have accused Ganzel of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Ganzel to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
