Brad Gerlach
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Gerlach has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Gerlach always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Gerlach when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Gerlach isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Gerlach to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
