Hitting
Glynn never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Glynn has been a bit of a liability with men on base. With his slap-hitting approach, Glynn always hits like he already has two strikes. The results are usually groundballs or line drives to the opposite field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Nick Glynn to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Glynn doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Glynn to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
