Leo Gomez
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Gomez never has been a patient hitter. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Leo Gomez to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Gomez doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Gomez you're not putting him in for his glove. Leo's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
If Gomez doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
