Tom Goodwin
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Goodwin never has been a patient hitter. Goodwin usually pounds the ball into the ground to try to get the most out of his speed. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Goodwin when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Goodwin struggles on the road.

Baserunning & Defense
Goodwin has excellent speed and uses it wisely. He reads pitchers' moves well and is capable of stealing in any situation. His arm is below average but not a major weakness.

2010 Outlook
If Goodwin doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
