Ken GriffeyJr
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
GriffeyJr quickly learned that he could drive the ball out the opposite way. That knowledge has made him a better hitter because he now uses the entire field. I tell you, I've seen GriffeyJr hit some majestic home runs. They're a thing of beauty. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. His strength is in the gaps. He struggles away from home.

Baserunning & Defense
GriffeyJr is a real dynamo in the field. It's been said that his glove saves at least a run a game, and I tend to agree with that. His arm is accurate enough. GriffeyJr doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.
