Steve Gunderson
Catcher | Free Agents

Hitting
In past seasons, Gunderson has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Gunderson always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
Gunderson isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. Gunderson is a poor defensive catcher. He isn't very mobile or adept at blocking balls in the dirt. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Gunderson to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
