I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this guy play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Hammonds always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm is below average but not a major weakness. Hammonds is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
