Lou Harrison
Catcher | Free Agents

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Harrison is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He is easy prey for any righthander who can throw a slider off the outside corner. Harrison handles lefthanders who bring the ball into his quick hands much better.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Harrison to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
