Hitting
The book on Hodson is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Rebel Hodson to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Hodson isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Hodson to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
