Hitting
One of the nice things about Damon is that he's a real clutch hitter. If it's late in the game, and there are men on base, you want this guy at the plate. The statistics don't lie: Hollins gets most of his home runs against lefties. He's a straight pull hitter whose power extends from the leftfield gap to the line. Hollins struggles on the road.

Baserunning & Defense
Hollins also has toned down the careless and overaggressive mistakes he used to make. He's still adept at making sliding catches on balls near the foul line. His arm is accurate enough. He steals a few bases with his combination of quickness and a decent first step.

Hollins is in charge when he's at the plate.
