Dave Hollins
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Hollins never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Hollins has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Hollins always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Hollins you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal.

2010 Outlook
If Hollins doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
