Bert Keating
Right Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
Keating never has been a patient hitter. But Bert's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. Keating always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Don't be surprised if The Free Agents's manager sits Keating when you throw your ace lefty. For some reason, he just can't figure out the southpaw. It's hard to explain but Bert Keating plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with Keating signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Baserunning & Defense
Keating isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Keating you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Keating to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
