Pitching
The Free Agents hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. He tends to work slowly when in a jam, which just makes his problems worse by lulling his fielders to sleep. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Kiefer, and that's saying a lot. Kiefer has no endurance. He's good for an inning an outing, tops. He frequently leaves fastballs up in the strike zone, where they get pounded. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
Kiefer does an average job of holding runners. Kiefer is agile on the mound, though he makes needless errors when his concentration wanders. Kiefer is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Kiefer has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Kiefer as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Kiefer.
