Kingman never has been a patient hitter. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Eric Kingman to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Kingman doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.

2010 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.
