Wayne Kirby
Right Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Kirby never has been a patient hitter. But Wayne's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. Kirby always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Kirby isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
