Hitting
Lewis never has been a patient hitter. Lewis always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense
When you play Lewis you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal.
2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Lewis to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
