Herb Lintz
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Lintz always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. Minor league scouts have accused Lintz of being a liability in the field. Herb's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Lintz to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
